Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry sends candy to U.S. troops

Dr. Eric Berry is hosting a second-annual Halloween Candy Buyback during Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry, a possibility to get money and prizes for additional candy and uncover support for U.S. troops.

For any bruise of candy, we will get $1 for adult to 5 pounds and be entered into a raffle for an iPad 2. The buyback is from 3:30-6 p.m. Nov. 1, though donations of candy will be supposed by noon Nov. 4, when it will be taken to UPS and sent to U.S. infantry by Operation Shoebox of Florida.

“My personal idea is to collect 200 pounds,” Tricia Berry said. “Last year, we collected only underneath 400 pounds. We’re excited. We send all candy, including chocolate, in caring packages to infantry overseas, Iraq and Afghanistan.”
