Funding support dental procedures for internal youths

CORNWALL – A sum of 315 children and girl who need hospital-based dental medicine that requires ubiquitous anesthesia will now be means to bear these procedures, interjection to new funding.

Roughly $335,000 is being invested into a Cornwall Community Hospital in sequence to yield entrance to these procedures. These supports will concede for 315 additional pediatric dental procedures requiring ubiquitous anesthesia in 2011 and 2012 and are supposing by a province, by a Champlain Local Health Integration Network.

Alex Munter, arch executive officer of a Champlain LHIN, says this one-time appropriation is a vital boost in capacity.

“Last mercantile year, there was about 100 procedures that were completed,” he says. “This will supplement an additional 315. This is good news for kids and families…it means kids will get improved services, closer to home.”
