ALBANY – Albany County residents without dental insurance can now revoke their costs for tooth care,

139 dentists in Albany County have agreed to reduce a rate they assign patients without insurance by about 30 per cent.

To be eligible, patients need to squeeze a dental network card that costs $36.50 yearly for people and $52 for families.

There are no income restrictions for a program.

While announcing the program, Albany County Legislative Chairman Shawn Morse said a lot of people put off regular dental visits because of cost concerns. “So what they need now are base canals and other forms of vital surgery.
